OHIO VALLEY PLEIN AIR PAINT OUT 2026

Capture the emotional and sensory dimension of painting three days En Plein Air.

In our fifth year, twenty-one artists registered to participate, plus over 85 students from the Marshall Count School Art Classes and the advanced art students from Linsly School in Ohio county. We all painted together on the grounds of Oglebey Park It was exciting to be around all the young people, watching them create works of art.

Artworks around town's members were again involved for which I am thankful. Our Art Judge and critic is always impressed by the quality and variety of work completed. And the public responded by voting for their favorites as they viewed the month long show. Despite all the limitations with funding, we were able to award just over $3,000 in prize money to individual artists. The arts community stepped up big time to make this an exceptional year.
